Since a few months I’m using the new Odyssey x86 Single Board Computer as a Hypervisor, running VMware vSphere 7 on it. At this time there is only a re_computer case available, which was build for Desktop usage. A rack mount enclosure (and this is what I prefer) is still missing.
Therefore I invented a first prototype of a modular rack mount kit which keeps up to three Odyssey x86 or other SBCs like Raspberry Pi including the corresponding side panels. A mixture of different SBCs in one rack mount module is possible. Attached some pictures of the prototype v1…
